Almonds are good for digestion
The rich content of vitamin E and other minerals lower the cholesterol level of our blood. Study reveal that the prebiotic property of almonds can boost the number of gut bacteria present in the colon to fight harmful bacteria and pathogens. They also can help by feeding up prebiotic and non-digestible parts of our food. The beneficial bacteria use the almond lipid to multiply its number.
