1. Demand of tourism attachés in diplomatic missions of Nepal

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has urged the government to promote economic diplomacy through tourism attachés in Nepali Diplomatic Missions abroad. It has been recommended to appoint attachés in US, UK, Germany, Japan and Australia since these are the major tourist generating markets of Nepal. The private sector engaged in tourism industry has been requesting the government to do the same since long. The envoys in the diplomatic missions of Nepal can do a lot for promotion of tourism by organizing various activities and informing prospective tourists about destinations and services in Nepal.
